Dear IMPRI Well-wisher,

At the dawn of 2021, I extend my warm greetings to you. As we transcend into a New Year and a New Decade, we find the world around us beset with challenges affecting the humanity irrespective of national frontiers. Through its unswerving commitment to find solutions to such challenges, Impact and Policy Research Institute (IMPRI) would continue to pursue proactive, independent, ethical and non-partisan research.

On behalf of IMPRI, I thank you for having stood by us over the past years and I earnestly solicit your continued support. It would be instrumental in strengthening our resolve to pursue evidence-based research and analysis for policy action and welfare of the people. In the quest to reach the zenith of social, economic and environmental development, this is also the decade to work jointly to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and ‘leave no one behind’.

I am delighted to present to you the first of the weekly Newsletter of 2021. The Newsletter would apprise you of the upcoming events and activities as well as recent publications by the team. Looking forward to continued interactions with you, and your feedback would always be welcome.

Let us together revive hope and humility in 2021. May this be a bountiful year for you and your loved ones!

Dr Simi Mehta, CEO and Editorial Director, IMPRI
