Anshula Mehta IMPRI

Dear IMPRI Well-wisher,

We hope you are safe and well.

With the 75th Independence Day of India approaching, it is a moment for us all to revisit our ideals of inclusive freedom and peaceful coexistence. The prevailing COVID-19 crisis and heightened vulnerabilities beseech us to reinforce a space and society of free thought, diversity and humanity.

This week at IMPRI starts off with a discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on India's non-profits, and moves on to deliberations on sustainable development, inner-city redevelopment, and looking at the need for a national employment policy, as we reaffirm our commitment to diverse and impactful conversations around policy.

The newsletter will take you through the upcoming events at IMPRI, the week's publications, and videos of #WebPolicyTalks in case you missed them.

Wishing you the best for the week ahead,

Anshula Mehta, Senior Assistant Director, IMPRI
