Dear IMPRI Well-Wisher!
Greetings from IMPRI team and we wish for the good health of you and your loved ones amid the mutating coronavirus pandemic. With the new mutants of Coronavirus pandemic in the form of Black fungus and B.1.617 variant spreading throughout the country and have started affecting rural areas of India, the situation has been grim with the lack of vaccination, oxygen shortages, and insufficient medical infrastructure. Thus, IMPRI planned to bring about the Rural Realities to the surface by engaging with practitioners working from Indian villages in meaningful deliberations.
The coming week, as India striking with various cyclones in the coastal region of India, IMPRI plans to bring about the effect of climate change on the gender with the training program organized in collaboration with National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), Ministry of Home Affairs.
The newsletter will apprise you of these upcoming events, the week's publications, and videos of last week's #WebPolicyTalks in case you missed them. We hope to see you soon at one of our events! Feel free to share it with anyone who you know would be interested!
Soliciting your blessings and support,
Wishing you a safe and healthy week ahead.
Anshula Mehta, Assistant Director, IMPRI
