Dear IMPRI Well-Wisher! Greetings! Since the past month, South Asia has been caught in the mire of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, which has unleashed trauma and tragedies of irreparable proportions on the lives of the people. As a silver lining, we have seen a rare unity of humanity- from local to global levels, coming together to help avert the ongoing crisis. This imparts hope to us at IMPRI that the pandemic will be overcome, and that everyone around you, your loved ones, and yourself will continue to remain in the best of physical and mental health. May 4, 2021, formally marked the stepping of IMPRI into its 4th year. As we look back, the past three years have enriched us with invaluable experiences and exposures- both ups and downs. We are humbled by the trust that you’ve bestowed upon us and stood by us. It strengthens our commitments towards ethical, independent, non-partisan, and impactful policy research- both evidence-based and action-based, in order to advance social, economic, political, and environmental development. The newsletter will apprise you of these upcoming events, the week's publications, and videos of last week's #WebPolicyTalks in case you missed them. We hope to see you soon at one of our events! Feel free to share it with anyone who you know would be interested! Soliciting your blessings and support, Wishing you a safe and healthy week ahead.
Dr Simi Mehta, CEO & Editorial Director, IMPRI Anshula Mehta, Assistant Director, IMPRI
